Truth to Santa Claus

“I’ll tell you the truth oh Santa,
About Jimmy, Sammy and Claire
That they have been all Savannah,
Carrying out their mischief in no care!”

“Ho! Ho! Ho!” He laughed and said
As he lifted and placed me on his lap,
“Enlighten me my dear, Go ahead!”
With his ears and eyes in a gift wrap.

“So Santa, here’s the deal now,
I’ll tell you about it and all”,
As I see him lift his brow,
To my finger pointed at the wall.

I showed him my sock and asked,
“Are you going to fill it up?
Because only then will i be tasked,
To tell you the truth from my cup”.

“And mommy gave me some cookies,
With a glass of milk kept on the table,
All this can be yours with no bookies,
If you give me the gifts with no label”.

“Ho! Ho! Ho! Hmmmm” is what he says,
“You little munchkin bribes me here”
Patting my head in swift ways,
Giggling his way in complete austere.

“I ain’t no kidding Mr. Claus,
I’ll tell you all the truth in creed”
I said with my shiny teeth floss,
“You know just what I need”.
